(Exceptions and Additions to FIFA Laws)
Law I – The Field of Play
The field shall be 50 by 80 yards with the Center Circle 8 yards
in radius. The Penalty Area shall be 14 yards by 35 yards with the
Goal Area 6 yards by 19 yards. There shall be NO penalty spot NOR
penalty arc utilized. The Goals shall be 18 feet wide by 6 feet
high.
Law II – The Ball
The size of the ball should be a size 5 ball.
Law III – Number of Players
No team shall be allowed more than twelve (12) players, nor less
than four (4) players at any given time. The minimum number of players
on the field to start the match shall be four (4).
Substitutes: Substitutions shall be unlimited and prior permission
of the referee is required in order to make any substitution at
any time, except at the resumption of play after the half time break.
All other substitutions may be made with the following constraints:
On a throw-in (by the team in possession)
On a goal kick (by either team)
After any goal (by either team)
After stoppage of play for an injury (either team)
At half time (by either team)
After a caution (the player receiving the caution)
Law IV – Equipment
In accordance with STYSA and CBYSA playing rules.
Law V – Referees
In accordance with STYSA and CBYSA playing rules.
Law VII – Duration of the Game
The duration of the game shall be twenty-five (25) minute halves
and the half-time shall be five (5) minutes.
Law XI – Offside
The offside rule shall be interpreted liberally, however, no player
may play in an obvious offside position in front of or near the
goal such as a designated scorer.
Law XII – Fouls and Misconduct
In accordance with STYSA and CBYSA playing rules, including the
disallowance for charging of the goalkeeper.
Law XIII – Free Kick
All fouls shall be penalized with indirect kicks. From the point
of taking an indirect kick or corner kick, opponents shall not be
any closer than six (6) yards.
Law XIV – Penalty Kick
Penalties for Fouls: There shall be no penalty shots for fouls within
the penalty area.
Law XV – Throw In
All throw-ins shall be taken as “kick-ins” with the ball
placed on the sideline.
Law XVI – Goal Kick
All goal kicks shall be taken as “goalkeeper throws” with
the goalkeeper making said throw from within the goal area.
Additional Instructions:
Goalkeeper: Upon possession of the ball with the hands, the goalkeeper
shall replay the ball with a “goalkeeper throw”. No punts
are allowed by the goalkeeper.
A player cannot score more than 2 goals in a game, if it happens
- then
it's ruled the same as if the player was offside with an indirect
kick.
